William Gregory

William spent 7 years in prison for two rapes he did not commit. He was convicted based on junk science, eyewitness misidentification, and the withholding of evidence by police. A new type of DNA testing eventually became available and in 2000, William because the first person to be exonerated by mitochondrial testing and the first person to be exonerated based on DNA evidence in Kentucky. Since his release, he's been enjoying his freedom with his family and friends. However, he has recently endured some medical issues and is in need of comfortable clothing.
