Keith was just 19 years old when he was kidnapped by two individuals who had malicious intentions to harm him. Keith miraculously survived, but a case of self-defense suddenly turned into a murder investigation against him due to the disgraced police work of Mark Handy. After manipulating evidence and witness testimony, Handy managed to get Keith sentenced to life in prison in 1995. He spent three years in prison before winning an appeal on his case, however, he was not fully exonerated for another 21 years in 2019.
